Ideal 18's are awesome boats. If you've never sailed one before I urge you, from one sailor to another, to try it out. It's impossible to not enjoy them. If the Ideals are not quite your thing, at least go to next years Sears Trophy Regatta at IHYC because they supply enough fun to watch. I wish I could have gone back Friday to see the end of the regatta because all I got out of Friday was another sunburn (shocker). Here's the final Sears results:
